Abstract:
A physics teacher can currently have a wide portfolio of different tools and experimental kits for supporting the teaching of physics. However, it often happens that schools are not able to allocate the necessary funds to purchase them. The authors of the paper, therefore, decided to explore the possibilities of their own construction of the experimental set using simple and affordable components. Among the priority requirements, which were set during the construction of the experimental set, were the modular character of the set, powering the elements of the set using a single source and, if interested, also the possibility of constructing some components in school conditions. The most important elements of the prepared set are a simple and affordable digital oscilloscope DSO 150 and a single-chip microcomputer Arduino Uno R3. In the article, we briefly describe some of our experiences and problems that had to be solved in the construction of the power supply as a basic element of the experimental set. The part of the paper devoted to the basic properties and description of the construction of one of the modules of the experimental set - the sound sensor - has the same character.
