POSSIBILITY OF USING SELECTED ANALYTICAL MATLAB TOOLS IN ENGINEERING STUDY IN DATA PROCESSING

The impact of Industry 4.0 approach implementation has had a significant impact for several years, not only on various areas of the manufacturing and non-manufacturing spheres, but also in the field of education. These are mainly increasing requirements for the use of various application tools for data acquisition, processing and evaluation. The companies developing computer applications therefore strives to constantly improve individual tools and adapt them to the requirements of practice. This trend must also be applied to the field of engineering education. It is necessary to prepare future graduates to have at least the basic knowledge and skills needed for data processing. One such application is the Matlab, which has been developing its toolboxes for many years so that they can be used by the widest possible range of users. It focuses on the visualization and processing in the form of "guides" and self-generation of scrips, which allows the user to use these tools without a perfect understanding of the activities in the "background". The present paper will describe the basic and more advanced tools that can be used for data analysis. Real data obtained through the SCADA industrial information system will serve as source data.
