APPLICATION OF SPECIFIC SOFTWARE AS TOOL TO INCREASE THE ATTRACTIVENESS OF CONTENT IN LECTURES THROUGH ANIMATION

Some study subjects on technical universities are sometimes so demanding of imagination that the students are often demotivated and lose interest of this subject. This is also due to the fact that the essence of some subjects is quite often presented only by the static form of information interpretation. One of the ways to increase the attractiveness of the lectured content is to incorporate animation as a dynamic element that could increase the attractiveness of lectures and engage listeners. In general, animations play an important role in facilitating understanding of the subject matter under study. It is evident that in many cases animation significantly enhances student attention and interest. We can see that animation as an affective learning tool attracts attention, engages the students, and sustains motivation aspect.

This paper describes possible way to use the Tecnomatix Plant Simulation software to create animations for selected types of production systems. These animations should serve as visual aids for delivering theoretical knowledge in lectures
