DESIGN OF STUDY SUPPORT TO GET SKILLS IN PLANT SIMULATION TECNOMATIX ENVIRONMENT

Simulation as a tool of better understanding of the behaviour of the process and finding optimal solutions has its irreplaceable place in almost every area. Because of understanding the process behaviour it is necessary bring the students the appropriate information of creating the simulation models in chosen program settings. Students get in touch with multiple simulation tools during their study. These simulation tools are mostly specialized in a particular area and their environment has many tools. Therefore it is important to prepare study support to enable the student process the assigned tasks. Each software has the user manual but it is too comprehensive for students to use, and require much time for study and practical testing. Much better efficiency is provided by visually processed materials that offer students the ways, tools and methods that have been taken in the context of every tasks. However, such documents require detailed preparation and processing from the teacher.
The paper will propose possible ways of creating documents and their implementation for acquiring basic skills in the Tecnomatix Plant Simulation environment.
