Abstract:
The thesis analyses the psycholinguistic conditions of reading comprehension and discusses practical development opportunities at exit level of kindergarten and at the lower level of the primary school. In the recent years it has been observed that more and more children with speech defects start the school, or they are confused with speech perception and speech production, which will most likely lead to difficulties in text comprehension.

The aim of my research work is to contribute to the practical implementation of the improvement of reading comprehension through a complex overview of the development of reading comprehension - through family and institutional education - using alternative solutions in development. Analysis of personal relationships and the effects of teacher attitudes also appear in the thesis. With my work, I urge the development of an approach that begins with the knowing of the child, taking into account the particularities of the age, with particular regard to the development of speech and the understanding of the text.
