Abstract:
One of the major concerns of the university teachers with the implementation of the European Higher Education Area is to improve the methodology of their lessons with the incorporation of new technological tools and Internet. It is clear that the future of teaching commitment to innovation by a learning method that goes beyond the traditional resources used today in classrooms.

Based on this idea, this paper proposes the use of a web application for the development of a different teaching method, which uses cartoon as an enhancer of understanding, as a teaching tool that enhances the teaching of professor and attracts the interest of students. In media such as Internet, cinema, television and video games, animation is a constant, so if we use animation and Internet as teaching method, we will be incorporating their own means of entertainment of young people in the university classes, to encourage greater involvement by students, and a more dynamic and fluid learning, and thus greater speed in the development and understanding of the contents of the course.

For this purpose, we carry out a learning experience that uses the animated video editor GoAnimate to explain the contents of the corresponding lesson. GoAnimate is a tool to create animations in a very simple and intuitive way, which contains a specific section for its use in education, GoAnimate School, in which the characters and predefined scenarios are related to the world of education and teaching. The application is designed so that you can use these animated videos in the proper teaching methodology, in that way is providing to the registered user (the teacher) a virtual space in which to create and submit their animations, so that afterwards students can visit and consult the videos.

The results of this experience shows how making small animations of contents that we consider most important, can help to catch student’s attention and interest in the subject, and promotes an active participation and the development of positive attitudes by students.
