Abstract:
The use of information and communication technologies is currently highly preferred in education. Pupils, students, teachers and parents use various digital devices in their activities mobile phones, tablets, computers and a large number of computer applications. Various school information systems are user-friendly for all participants in the educational process. Information systems used in education include Bachelors, EduPage, e - class book and others. Pupils and parents have access to information related to pupil assessment through information systems. The information system informs about changes in the class schedule. Parents can find out what was discussed in lessons. The school principal also has an overview of classes’ activity. The school management can check whether the subject matter is compatible with the educational program. Information systems also include e-learning. In our paper, we focus on the experience of mathematics teachers with applying of digital technologies and mathematical applications in the mathematics teaching. Empirical research was carried out by exploratory methods (questionnaire, discussion, and interview). In this article, we focus on understanding pedagogical situations and acquire the experience of people (teachers - mathematics teachers) in the pedagogical process (in the classroom, in the family, in a group of classmates) with the use of digital technologies. Pupils should learn through digital instruction support that these digital technologies are a great way to discover and create new things.
