Abstract:
The Vietnam’s New General Education Program 2018, was issued officially and implemented with the emphasized general education goals. The program has helped students master the general knowledge, and having skills to solve problems in the daily life and life-long learning effectively so as to have a meaningful life and positively contribute to the development of Vietnamese State and Community. Based on the survey and assessment the current status of standards and criteria of quality assurance of a typical teacher training organization of a locality in Vietnam, our research group believes that the implementation of the New Program would be a challenge. Based on the analyzed results of 5 groups with the conditions of instructors quality, facility and equipment, quality of learner support, community service, and policy mechanism, our research group has highlighted the concerned issues so that the solutions could be raised to overcome the above difficulties and challenges.
