Abstract:
The way of dealing with the resources and demands that arise from the changes generated in the work context, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, influenced the perception of loss of control of working time during confinement; and consequently, in the work overload. This research aims to expand knowledge related to the mediation of technology in the appearance of the phenomenon known as Role Blurring or transposition of the roles played at work and in the family, and the relationships between this phenomenon, the perception of work overload, and people's mental health. For this purpose, an exploratory study was carried out by means of a network analysis of a sample of 300 people over 18 years of age, resident in Spain, surveyed online. This study, in addition to contributing to the understanding of Role Blurring, allows us to delve deeper into both the positive and negative effects of digitalisation as an aid to work. Keywords:
