Abstract:
Because of the demand for renewable energy in society today, many educational leaders in schools and colleges are working with teachers and faculty to create an applicable curriculum that includes some learning experiences for students about solar energy. As a start, the solar energy curriculum in many schools and colleges addresses basic information about what, when, where, why and how solar energy can be used and is being used in society. Students are frequently asked to cite or identify areas where solar energy is being used in various communities? The researcher will discuss what is solar energy, history of solar energy, typical solar energy guide for schools, identify some solar energy science projects, sample ways to assess students’ projects, what are some solar products, how to build solar energy systems, establishment of solar farms, advantage and disadvantage of solar energy, companies that support solar energy, well known funding sources, green work force, and current trends.
