E-ISSUE DEVELOPMENT BASED ON A GNU MULTIMEDIA ENVIRONMENT TO SELF-LEARNING PASW (STATISTICS SOFTWARE)
In our field, methodology of the behavioral sciences, we face with the need to work with data analysis software that require the purchase of a license, who is not within rich of our students. Appart from that, adequate knowledge of the use of this software may be essential in their future professional activity. If you also add that the establishment of the European Higher Education leads us to the adoption of renewal processes in the teaching methodology, it's essential to have a tool to give guarantees for all of our students to become them who guide their own learning.
The necessity imposed by the new degrees and the extinction of subjects in first and second degree course, makes it necessary to facilitate self-learning of these subjects to those students who couldn't overcome them, because this teaching has been removed.
In this paper we present the procedure and the development of a dynamic multimedia, in which we show different data analysis procedures, facilitating the location of different menus and outputs. To do this, we used free software Wink (http://www.debugmode.com/wink/) with we were capturing the processes that are followed in different statistical analysis, and then implement them in a multimedia material created with the GNU software Ex-eLearning (http://exelearning.org/wiki). This material can be stored in web format for indexing it in personal pages, or in SCORM 1.2 format for later upload to a Virtual Classroom under the Moodle environment. The generation of this issue facilitates greater independence of the student, especially in the basic software of data analysis, because different animated gif and videos in the multimedia issue guide the student in his study without the need to have such software.
This multimedia material was performed with funding from the Education Support Unit of the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón ("Unitat de Suport Educatiu"), and is planned for implementation in the second semester of the current course, when the Data Analysis subjects starts .
