Abstract:
The main purpose of training programs is to develop general and specific skills, based on which teachers have the ability to manage more effectively classroom activities and also the formation process of students personality. The starting point of this work is a retrospective analysis of the continuous training program we conduct in cooperation with CCD Sibiu. The training program aims to develop the classroom management skills of primary school teachers. Therefore the present study provides a correlation between the formative and final assessment results on the one side and teachers feedback about the training program and the trainer, on the other side. The quantitative analyzes are supplemented by observations made during our training program. During our training sessions we also identified other training needs of the participants, like the social-emotional development of teachers, that is now a future research direction.
