Abstract:
Adults education is based on the development of specific skills necessary for resolving problems with which adults are faced at their workplace and which are relevant to them. This article deals with adults education through the sistem of continuous training in classroom management of primary school teachers. The training needs analysis presented in this paper indicates a clear need for restructuring or development of teachers' attitudes, behavior and classroom management strategies and especially the need to adapt to the features of the current generation of students. According to needs analysis conducted on a sample of 54 teachers from urban and rural areas in Sibiu, we identified the following main topics of training for teachers in primary education: self-management strategies, followed by classroom management strategies, and techniques for managing students with behavioral problems. The purpose of this research consisted of a training program that was designed and accredited in collaboration with CCD (Casa Corpului Didactic Sibiu).
