Abstract:
For governments and universities, providing the best education is the single most important goal to prepare the next generation of students for a competitive global market. The main challenge in this is maintaining and improving the quality of academic work, and reducing the possibility risk exposure.

Better writing starts with the awareness what plagiarism means and how it can be prevented. Students need to understand how to respect copyright and how to declare when they are expressing their own ideas and when they are using other people's ideas in order to increase original work.

Through creating a culture of original thinking and academic integrity, universities can build and maintain their reputation.

In this presentation we want to show how technology can be applied to improve students’ writing skills, and how combining education and technology can help building a stronger academic reputation.
