Abstract:
The teaching of subject Physics at the universities with technical trends has its specifics, which mainly include the low number of Physics lessons per week (3 Lectures - 2 Computational exercises - 1 Laboratory exercises), weak student motivation and a negative attitude towards Physics. The goal of this contribution is our new (modified) process in the measurement from Physics on laboratory exercises. For students, it is necessary to understand that Physics gives the basis of explaining principles of some phenomena. Now the laboratory exercises of subject Physics are focused mainly on the practical explanation and understanding of phenomena through several demonstration experiments and their consecutive evaluation. The laboratory exercises play an important role because they are a bridge between theory and real processes, which is important for the students of the engineering area. The exercise is designed so that students can benefit from it in the next lessons and subjects. New modified methods are based on simple experiments without special measuring devices. The article describes the various methods and their benefits from the students' point of view. This method of running a laboratory exercise brings a new comprehensive view of the issue of measurement.
