Abstract:

Digital technologies in education at basic and secondary schools as well as universities become a natural thing these days. From this reason there are new requirements on teachers who have to be ready to work with modern didactic means and technologies as well as to create suitable educational materials for the needs of education. In this contribution we will focus on using modern digital technologies in education future mathematics teachers. We will focus further on advantages and disadvantages of teaching via information and communication technology tools. We will describe our experiences of using ICT tools in the teaching the future mathematics teachers in the Slovak republic. We will describe recommended software which should use teachers of mathematics and also how to use it in teaching proccess. Especially we focus on creating interactive applets in geometric software GeoGebra and their implementation into the elearning course Moodle.
