Abstract:
As a literature review, the article presents results in accessibility and safety of persons with disabilities or specific needs, emphasizing online safety.
Accessibility and safety in the context of persons with disabilities and specific needs are one of the areas that are not neglected even in science and research. It happens in both domestic and foreign contexts.

A literature search creates an overview of the topics addressed (research, studies, articles, publications) regarding the accessibility of persons with disabilities / specific needs. It was created using various internet interfaces, platforms, and databases (EBSCO, Google Scholar, E-zdroje, Knihovny.cz, PROQUEST). The literature search revealed many addressed topics related to accessibility and safety in the context of persons with disabilities/specific needs. Specifically, we focus on accessibility and security in the context of people with hearing impairments, mobility restrictions, visual impairments, mental disabilities, mental illness, and impaired communication skills.

In the context of the events of the last two and a half years, due to the global covid-19 pandemic, communication and special educational care moved to the online world. We dedicate a large part of the research concepts of accessibility and safety of people with disabilities or specific needs in the online world.
It turns out that the provision of remote special education care is an effective means of quality services. Through telepractice, experiences are passed on not only to the clients themselves but also to their families. The increasing average age and higher numbers of individuals of older age (over 65 years old) logically increase the need for telepractice in this age category. The electronic systems of the virtual world reveal much sensitive information about individual clients/patients with disabilities. To be able to rely on the future of telemedicine with certainty, it is necessary to ensure that security, technical and personnel issues are resolved. The public space of the Internet ceases to be safe with the development of technology. Personal data created during therapy may be compromised. It is, therefore, necessary to work in a public Internet environment safely and with awareness of the possibility of misuse of personal data. In 2010, a specialized online counseling center for the area of risky behavior on the Internet was established at the Palacký University in Olomouc (Czech Republic) - especially for cases of cyberbullying, sexting, cyber grooming, risks of social networks, misuse of personal data, blocking of illegal and unwanted Internet content.

The counseling center was formally sponsored by the Center for Prevention risk virtual communication (PRVoK), the professional guarantor and implementer of the E-Safety project (E-bezpečí).
