Abstract:
The session will describe the how one university developed an electronic formative and summative program evaluation system for its standards based master's principal preparation program. Specifically, discussed will be how the program evaluation standards were formulated, incorporating the Florida Principal Leadership Standards; how courses were designed to incorporate both those state and university standards; the electronic portfolio selected to house student assignments; the implementation experience; data usage to improve teaching and learning, and recommendations for institutions considering similar efforts.
