Abstract:
If we look in the dictionary of the Spanish language of the Spanish Royal Academy, by innovating means moving or changing something, introducing novelties. It is clear that the novelties that are going to be presented in this article do not refer to the contents of the program of the subject Linear Algebra, which are imposed by the BOE, but how to present those contents to students in first year of Industrial Engineering, so that we make this subject a little more attractive to these students, who find it too abstract, being more familiar with the Calculus, because in general, have worked it harder in the pre-university courses.

This communication presents the contents as well as the design done, and appearing on the platform Moodle belonging to the Campus Virtual of our University (UPV / EHU), for the four-month course Linear Algebra in the first course of Industrial Engineering during the academic year 2008 -2009. We can check that this platform of virtual education is a good complement to the in-class teaching, and also through it we can improve some of the skills and competences that we defined at the beginning of course to achieve in the subject.
