Abstract:
Climate change affects architecture, its structure and shape. The conducted research concerns materials and building structures, as well as the aesthetics of objects arising in the process of sustainable development. In the design process, the facilities are adapted to the current pro-ecological requirements. In the didactic process, attention was paid to the use of pro-ecological materials and constructions in architectural design. An original didactic program was developed based on the results of own scientific research. The didactic program was introduced in the classes for students of the 1st year of architectural studies who start architectural studies. The students were to design a service facility with the surroundings. The methodology of the didactic program consisted of: abstract constructing the space of the future facility, presenting students in the form of active lectures on the subject of climate change, the impact of the object on the environment, impact on the user, materials and pro-ecological design, function distribution and similar issues. The lectures were adapted to the students' knowledge. Lectures showed the possibilities of pro-ecological shaping of architecture, proper insertion of the object into the environment. Lectures were conducted through active engagement of students, showing interesting and creative solutions and broad possibilities of using modern construction technologies. The result of the project activities were projects of service facilities such as: marina, hostel, creative center, leisure and training center. These facilities have been designed in accordance with environmental trams, but above all with the conscious application of specific technologies in facilities. The conclusion is that it is not enough to introduce pro-ecological materials and technologies to the designed object, but it should be shown through the didactic process the need for such application, as well as new possibilities of technological connections, new spatial creations. In this approach to environmental issues, students have applied creative technologies creatively. Also, in further project work they should use a similar model of project activity. Keywords:
