Abstract:
Degree in nursing from the University of Seville, consists of four courses with a few thousand students enrolled in this course. Teaching is divided into three academic units: Virgen Macarena, Virgen del Rocío and Virgen de Valme.
Small groups have between ten and fifteen students. Teaching focuses from a practical perspective and aims to complete the training of students, encouraging active and autonomous student teaching, and the use of information and communication technologies.
It arises as a teaching strategy for the improvement of the quality of teaching, the development of rubrics for assessment of small groups. For this purpose a group of teachers of various subjects of third year of the Bachelor in nursing, have raised at the University of Seville an innovation and teaching improvement project to be developed during the next academic year 2014/2015, being approximately 240 students who can benefit from this strategy.
For the elaboration of the rubrics will be to gather information from them, using focus groups of teachers and students involved in the different subjects. Once prepared the headings, a pilot with small groups, will take place to detect strengths and weaknesses of them. In this paper we present the preliminary results of the project. Keywords:
