Abstract:
Despite its growing popularity, e-learning – a new powerful technique of teaching and learning – remains still poorly understood in terms of factors determining its efficiency.
The present study is aimed to investigate the relationship between methodological features of the e-lessons and the learning outcomes. The research is still under the process.

Three groups of subjects are participating in 3 different variants of 30-minutes e-learning lesson differing in terms of lesson duration (one 30-mintes lesson or the same lesson divided into two parts), presence of a plot (either present or not) and a number of activities.

The efficiency of learning will be assessed with a multiple-choice test appearing both: directly upon the completion of the lesson and as well at a later time. The participants’ preferences and attitudes linked to various characteristics of the e-lesson will be also examined.

During the session the results of what makes e-learning effective and if different methodology affects the learning outcomes and likes will be presented.
