Abstract:
This study aims to explore the influence of educational values on societal growth within the socio-economic and cultural contexts of Latvia. Education, regarded as a fundamental value, extends beyond the mere acquisition of knowledge; it profoundly shapes individuals' cognition, beliefs, and social analysis, fostering a desire for social engagement, interaction, and empathy, and contributing to both their economic and spiritual well-being. Furthermore, in the contemporary landscape, it is imperative for young professionals not only to excel in their respective fields but also to cultivate qualities such as tolerance, social intelligence, and openness to diversity. The study comprises participants from the social sector. The findings reveal significant correlations between respondents' level of education and their perception of themselves as agents of societal change. Qualitative analysis unveils key aspects of good education, emphasizing the integration of theory and practice, competitiveness in the job market, and personal development. In summary, this study underscores the critical role of education in societal development, highlighting its multifaceted impact on individuals' lives and its contribution to shaping a dynamic and informed professional community.
