Abstract:
This paper addresses the critical need for educational empowerment within food sector companies to enhance sustainable practices, with a specific focus on advanced waste management proficiency. The primary objective of this study was to justify the potential and validate a comprehensive waste management training curriculum tailored for both food enterprises and vocational institutions. The theoretical discussion in this paper involves a scientific exploration of the discourses surrounding sustainability issues in education.

The discourse analysis reveals a growing imperative to integrate sustainability concepts, particularly those related to food waste management, into vocational and lifelong education content. Through secondary and primary data analysis, the authors have compiled a set of professional waste management skills necessary for current and future food sector employees to meet sustainability commitments in their workplaces.

The central contribution of this paper lies in the development and validation of a specialized training curriculum designed to enhance advanced waste management proficiency among food industry professionals. The curriculum comprehensively addresses key aspects of waste reduction, recycling, and sustainable resource utilization within the specific context of food enterprises.

In the practical research phase, the validation process included pilot programs tested by industry professionals and students, enabling consistent improvements based on practical insights and feedback. The validation results provide evidence that waste management training offers a systemic approach to developing employees' individual skills, thereby strengthening the overall competitiveness of food companies. The educational empowerment of food sector employees is positioned as a significant step toward fostering a culture of responsible waste management practices within the food industry.
