The PTI is a programme created by the Rey Juan Carlos University on 2008/09 academic year for grade qualifications. The integral tutoring programme gives to each undergraduate students of our university a personal attention by a tutor who will be assigned from the first academic year until the end of the studies. With this programme all the grade´s students of the Rey Juan Carlos University rely with firm attention during the formative cycle.

In this sense, the proposal integral tutoring programme for Rey Juan Carlos University is based on three objectives:
-Integration: to ease the integration process of the student in the university system, particularly at the Rey Juan Carlos University.
-Orientation: to guide students academically, culturally and professionally in their learning process.
-Help: to promote the development of the students’ potential skills in order to improve their academic performance.

In the EHEA tutoring action is an obligation add to the investigation and methods, peculiar actions of any professor in a public university. There is no certificate or other record to show that a student has completed the PTI. It is a student´s right that only increases the student´s profit, and is one more tool that the Rey Juan Carlos University offers to the pupils. The use of this right, although very advisable, is optional.

Students´s obligations: come to the meetings and sessions; verify with the tutor the formative activities; evaluate the tutoring action in order to improve it; collaborate in the complementary activities of the tutoring programme. The tutor´s rules: exerting the activities of receiving, integration and information; guidance about the degree; verify the formative activities.
