Abstract:
This paper is inside the Project called “Communication and Collaboration in Virtual Learning Environments” that took held at Nord University in 2014/15 course. The purpose of this article is analyze the student perception of social networks use, and the engagement in social network activities that students developed in the course online titled “ICT in society”. The final sample was configured by 15 students from Nesna University College (Norway), University of Szczecin (Poland) and the University of Extremadura (Spain) that finished successfully all tasks proposed. The study was conducted during the second semester of 2015 and was managed through Moodle Platform. The results give some clues that let us interpret carefully about involving of students in the process to build knowledge through social networks and cultural differences that students from each country have in topic of interest, because of sample is not representative.
