Abstract:
From the Covid-19 pandemic the use of virtual libraries of the different institutions of higher education became indispensable, both for the search for specialized information in journals, databases, electronic books and leisure reading, virtual reading clubs and other types of services, so the objective of this work is to identify the level of satisfaction of the students of the Faculty of Administration with respect to the service offered in the virtual library of the Universidad Veracruzana. It is quantitative research with a cross-sectional descriptive design that was carried out on a sample of 260 students, of which 55.38% (144) are women and 44.62% (116) are men, who are between 18 and 35 years old, who answered a questionnaire of 10 questions with Likert scale and multiple choice. Within the results obtained from the outstanding aspects, the students request that they find more content with respect to editorial novelties, that there be access to wiki spaces about authors, virtual reading clubs, among others. It was possible to corroborate that access to the virtual library was made from their home and not from other spaces such as work, a friend's house, or a family member. With respect to the type of content that students use the most in the virtual library are the E-books, followed by sources of information from the National Consortium of Scientific and Technological Information Resources and what they use the least are the notarial archives of Xalapa. Finally, 86.20% are satisfied with the service offered in the virtual library.
