Abstract:
Introduction:
LtL (Learning to learn) is identified as one of the basic skills for success in the knowledge society. "Learning to learn is the ability to initiate and persist in learning, to organise one's own learning and to manage time and information effectively, either individually or in groups" (European Union, 2007, 8). Citizenship education in today's IKS (Information and Knowledge Society) is transforming many areas of life and education. In this context, ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) can help students to acquire knowledge autonomously (Puga, 2022). Therefore, LKTs (Learning and Knowledge Technologies) become an important tool to facilitate competence development (Khan and Markauskaite, 2017). In this context, the aim of this work is to understand which constructs university students consider important when undertaking the strategies necessary to acquire and develop the LtL competence.

Method:
The methodology used was ex post facto retrospective research, carried out through an online survey. This option has been chosen because of the very nature of the objective of the study. The sample corresponds to marketing students in their final year of undergraduate studies at a public university. The instrument consists of nine constructs: perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment, intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation, perceived behavioural control, attitude, behavioural intention and current behaviour. All of them are measured using 7-point Lickert scales from the literature.

Results:
The information was analysed and the results show that at 5% significance level the variable perceived enjoyment is significant (sig. = 000; beta = 0.625). The model explains 77% of university students' attitude towards acquiring LtL competence. Likewise, the construct of perceived behavioural control (sig. = 000; beta = 0.734) together with extrinsic motivation (sig. = 000; beta = 0.697) are significant variables. In this case the model explains 71% of university students' attitude.

Discussion:
These facts reveal the importance of the constructs of perceived enjoyment and perceived behavioural control when designing applications or activities to promote the acquisition of learning to learn competence in university students.
