Abstract:
Health care professionals have adapted their way of interacting with patients online through trial and error during the COVID19 pandemic, without clear guidelines on how to proceed in these interactions. Implementing strategies and training students for the acquisition of telehealth skills has become necessary despite the gradual return to "normality." Therefore, future professionals can be prepared for similar future situations and for follow-up or care processes that do not require in-person interactions.

Cinemeducation is the use of television series or films for educational purposes. Thus, by visualizing hyperrealistic scenarios, it is possible to arouse interest and stimulate the emotions and empathy of participants with the protagonists of the film. Recently, some series, such as Grey’s Anatomy (2005-) or New Amsterdam (2018-), have incorporated the pandemic situation experienced with COVID19, including telehealth-related moments.

To ensure that healthcare students have telehealth competencies, curricula should incorporate online interactions and telehealth knowledge at some point in the educational program. The purpose is to describe a teaching activity addressed to 4th-year physiotherapy students in a clinical reasoning course with assessment tools for teaching telehealth skills needed to conduct online interviews in real-time.
