VIRTUAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT IN ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING COURSES AT UNIVERSIDAD LIBRE BOGOTA

In the present work, the new technologies of information are used in several courses in Engineering Faculty at Universidad Libre, in Bogota Colombia. This courses are taken by students of different kind of engineering. Such as industrial, systems and environmental engineering.
The tools develop for these courses are virtual learning environmental join with moodle platform, and different blogs. In these spaces the students can find information about environmental management and the different courses of Applied Investigation. The virtual learning environmental let the students find all materials specialty design for example, studie cases, presentation, videos and the most important characteristic: the opportunity for debate and disputation space, among the other tools that moodle offer.
This methodology was evaluated by different resourses such as: participation index, student entries and evaluation of courses by students. The results shown that this strategic pedagogical can be success stablemen in other courses.
