Abstract:
The aim of this article is to explain the experiment developed for the integration of different technologies of e-learning: shared blackboard (remote desktop), projector and speakers, in combination with a telepresence robot. These technologies mentioned before have been used in the teaching of the subject called “Information systems in administration”; taught to the students in the third year of Bachelor in Public Business Management and Administration that takes place at the University of Oviedo. The experiment described in this article shows the methodology and the results obtained in the integration of service robots in different e-learning tools. Service robots are used for the elaboration of formation activities without the presence of the teacher, and also for trying to promote the results obtained from the students.

Another improvement shown in this article is the design of an experiment based in the modeling language for systems engineering applications called SysML. Moreover, this language allows to represent the process of teaching-learning by using a requirements-oriented methodology. Representation of the teaching-learning process, the systems mentioned before and the relations between teachers and students are shown in the capture of requirements and restrictions through the requirements diagram, applied to the experiment design in the block and sequence diagrams.

The results achieved in this article show the advantages of implementing a novelty system and easy-to-use for teachers and students, offering the advantage of adaptability to the different subjects that can be found in the educational environment. Another extra feature of this system is the improvement of the accessibility compared to the traditional methods of teaching.
