Abstract:
This article discusses the importance of authentic leadership in organizations, emphasizing the influence of age on leadership and its relationship to happiness in the workplace. The study addresses the authenticity of leaders and how it shapes organizational culture, influencing the success or failure of the company. Authentic leaders are noted for fostering an environment of trust, respect and innovation, which is crucial for the growth of cohesive and productive teams. The research used a quantitative methodology, with a questionnaire applied to a sample of employees, aimed at investigating the transparency, morale/ethics, balanced processing and self-awareness of leaders. This investigation provides a foundation for further research on authentic leadership, advocating for a deeper exploration into how it can be effectively harnessed to bolster not only individual but also organizational growth and success. The conclusion highlights the positive influence of authentic leadership on employee well-being and behavior, highlighting it as a determining factor for engagement and reducing turnover.
