Abstract:
The objective of this presentation is to raise questions for reflection and debate among the participants regarding the inclusion and academic success of Chinese international students in higher education. Therefore, this is communication is structured in three parts:
(1) Presentation of the results of a study of needs and raised issues expressed by Chinese international students, their classmates and teachers in different European degrees, subject areas and universities.
(2) A sample of the counseling, support and training materials created by the working team of the project “Social Inclusion and Academic Success of Chinese students in European Union higher education" (SIAS China-EU) in response to the findings of the first part of the study.
(3) And finally, some questions will are raised for reflection and debate among the participants.

The educational innovation resources described in part two are aimed at university teachers who have Chinese international students in their classrooms. They include both processes of awareness-raising and sensitization towards Chinese culture and conditions, actions and recommendations for the good reception, follow-up, permanence and academic success of Chinese students in European universities.
