Abstract:
This article highlights the development and improvement of the kindergarten-parents relationship through online technologies in order to harmoniously develop the preschool child both physically, cognitively, emotionally and socially. The pre-school period is characterized by rapid transformations that both parents and educators will manage with difficulty without effective communication. In Romania, online technologies in the preschool education system are very rarely used. There are kindergartens, especially those in the private system, who have built online parents 'and teachers' communication platforms to better manage the daily press activities, but this is not a common pattern in the country. This research aims to explore the relevance of the use of eLearning platforms by teachers and parents for a good and useful communication for the development of children at the intellectual and social levels. The research was done wit 120 people, including 30 teachers and 90 parents from 3 kindergartens - two state and one private in Bucharest. We used both qualitative and quantitative research methods for teachers and parents. Research results show that both teachers and parents of pre-school students communicate much better through online technologies. Teachers in private kindergartens with virtual communication platforms are more in favor of those as compared with the opinions of the teachers in state-owned kindergartens who do not have a virtual communication platform. The virtual platform is known by the teachers, the daily menus and the learning activities that will be done during the week. Parents receive information on activities undertaken by pupils at kindergarten and their involvement at the individual or group in learning. In this article we will present the research and its main results.
