BLENDED LEARNING WITH LEARNING OBJECTS IN AN INTER-INSTITUTIONAL REPOSITORY

Abstract:
The next article is looking up to frame the challenges faced by universities in Mexico seeking to move to an increasingly globalized world via education. In this background technologies have become the means to introduce knowledge in an increasingly global village. We can face the challenge if we are able to perform the changes needed in the educational systems and in the educational institutions. This institutions need to modify their contents by setting up the changes needed to reach the goals.
Therefore this article shows the different scenarios proposed to carry out an inter-institutional project validated by the Direction of Higher Education (DGESU) and the Program for Professional Teaching Development (PRODEP). The agenda of these institutions are clear, looking out to guarantee and reinforce the goals of the Mexican education National Development Plan.
Some regulations have turned to the generation of digital content, expanding the educational offer, encouraging access to culture and education through ICTs (Information and communication techniques). The regulations have also promoted curricular plans that include these new technologies and ICTs.
The access to ICTs and digital information is not only problem of basic structure and facilities, it is also needed a multidisciplinary group of experts in disciplines such as : oral and written expression, programming foundations, instructional design and ICTs, human and computer interaction and the creation of learning objects.
Searching to transform scenarios and incorporate them into teaching-learning processes, the main actors are teachers and students who use technology to perform tasks, express ideas, relate effectively. Scenarios where teaching and learning is carried out by blended learning (BLearning), a program that includes teaching practical learning skills, learn to learn skills, faced to acquire the learning autonomy of the students.Keywords:
