Abstract:
This article discusses the theory of professional formation and provides the author's interpretation of this term, justifying the significance of professional education and its understanding in society. Based on the author's empirical research on student youth from 2003 to 2023, the article provides a description of the trends in the transformation of understanding professional education and its significance on student professional activities.
The article aims to analyze the factors influencing the formation of professional capital among students. Special attention is given to the role of higher education in this process. The author's interpretation of the term "professional capital and professional forming" is associated with a combination of knowledge, skills, and experience that contribute to successful professional activities and career development. An important element of professional capital is the ability to apply acquired knowledge in different situations, as well as the ability for self-education and continuous development. The significance of professional education and its understanding in society is explained by the fact that professional capital becomes the foundation for competitiveness in the labor market. The higher a person's professional capital, the more opportunities they have for a successful career and growth in the professional field.
Research Question:
1. Theoretical rethinking of the concept of "professional forming and professional capital" in the context of student youth.
2. Analysis of data from author's empirical research on student youth from 2003 to 2023, with the identification of trends in the transformation of understanding professional education and its significance for student professional activities.
Materials, Methods, & Procedure:
Econometric methods for evaluating empirical data using regression and factor analysis; network modeling.
Results & Discussion:
The research shows that students are increasingly aware of the importance of self-education and professional development throughout their lives. They strive for constant improvement of their skills and broadening of their professional horizons. However, several studies also indicate that students in certain fields of professional activities feel a lack of practical experience and specific skills acquired during their education. This highlights the need for a closer connection between educational programs and the needs of the labor market.
Conclusion:
Thus, the article summarizes the theoretical understanding of the professional capital formation process and describes the main trends related to professional education and its significance for student professional activities.Keywords:
