Abstract:
Today, modern technology is everywhere and therefore one cannot escape it. While it cannot fully replace the education process, it may prove beneficial to teachers. However, in order for that to happen, it needs to be used effectively. The success of instruction does not depend as much on the amount of equipment and technology as on the teacher’s ability to use it. A teacher can have the best available technology at their disposal, but if they cannot use it properly, it will never be as effective as it could be. Modern education should reflect current trends. It is not enough to adapt only teaching methods and organization of education. Schools will be able to fully exploit the potential of modern technology only when the school environment changes to reflect current trends (from the aforementioned teaching methods, educational content and learning objectives to technical equipment and its management). Because it is just as important to stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and adjust to them. The paper is aimed not only at creating two multimedia objects for a Mathematics course (geometry in particular), but also at using a QR code to incorporate them into upper primary school instruction. The created multimedia objects will come in the form of instructional videos, which will be accompanied by text and audio commentary in order to reflect the instructional needs.
