Abstract:
The paper examines the creation of innovative information software systems that can be used by users with visual deficits.

The current technological age is pushing ever bigger and greater requirements to the design, development and implementation stages of software systems. The modern high technology advantages should be able to benefit, besides ordinary people but and people with special needs (having different types of disabilities), in order to guarantee their rights to equal access to the information.

The paper presents the main barriers encountered by students with disabilities in using web-based resources, databases and software systems. There are given methods and means to overcome the existing barriers and approaches to creating software products that can be used by students with visual deficits. In the paper, an analysis of accepted accessibility standards and ways of embedding their recommendations into software products is made.

The results of the work on a project for realizing the concept of accessibility in an information software system for processing and analysis of physiological data.

Presented is the developed software system for physiological data processing and the work to create a Functionality for users with a visual deficit.
