Abstract:
In line with the current trends, the school should prepare students to live in the changing reality and develop creative and innovative citizens who will get along on the unpredictable labour market. The first thing that comes to mind is how to do it and how school reality. In this paper we present our thoughts on effective learning environments and the results of external evaluation in this regard.

According to many educational researchers, as well as international organizations (eg. OECD) who undertake a number of studies, present and disseminate their results and valuable educational practice schedule to allow educational space in an efficient manner. Different authors present the statement that The school is no longer the institution which transfer the knowledge, but it transforms into the institution that teaches how to learn. Authors describe also the conditions to be satisfied by the learning environment (generally understood as the conditions under which learning takes place) to the process of extending them to be effective. They clue that learning should be active, cumulative, self-regulated, goal-oriented, placed in context and based on cooperation [1].

Our paper will present the results of research on effective ways of organizing students' learning space and the results of the external evaluation carried out in Polish primary schools in the school year 2014/2015 and to attempt to identify key areas for creating effective learning environments.
