Abstract:
Introduction of educational innovations is a priority of teaching all around the world. Increasing the motivation of pupils is important in the learning process, and the use of educational resources plays an important role in this field. Correctly selected handbooks are the basis for improving the quality of the lesson effectiveness and the quality of teaching, but at different stages of the teaching the teacher needs to get out of the textbook, create a different style of teaching, and introduce innovative method.
The blogs, textual, video or audio can be used during training to gather opinions from students, to teach or discuss the subject of the study online. Involving blogs in the classrooms, especially among schoolchildren, creates a positive emotional background, develops child's creative abilities, increases motivation and personality of the child. At the same time blogs help teachers better understand the type of knowledge acquisition and kinds of skills of the child.
Research on the effectiveness of blogs application to the learning process was carried out in 10 public and 3 private schools of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara. Study was conducted using survey and interview methodology. 148 pupils and 63 teachers were polled. The main purpose of the survey was to find out how the use of the blog in the classrooms affects the teaching process.
Survey has shown that every teacher learns the importance of blogging in the learning process, but still the majority of them do not use this teaching method. Even less interest in using blogs as a learning tool was shown by the pupils, due to still low level of digital competence and communication literacy. Keywords:
