Abstract:
Digital educational content is now the reality that we live in. Digital educational content plays an important role in modern education, including language learning. It provides students with the opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills electronically, making learning more interactive and accessible. Various interactive platforms, interactive boards, artificial intelligence based applications make both, teachers and students, start engaging at a brand new level.

Teaching a foreign language has always adapted quickly enough to the use of digital resources, so many platforms were originally created for use in classes in a foreign language, and only then added new functions. According to the authors language learning is one of the fields where the term “interactivity” goes along with the term of “success”. Nevertheless, digital tools are still not used as the way to engage, but as the form of entertainment. The objectives of this article are to show the potential of digital activities from the point of view of foreign language teaching and to define the practical ways of their introducing into the classroom.

Digital educational content makes the learning process of foreign languages flexible and accessible, as students can complete assignments any time and anywhere using their devices. Language learning is becoming interactive and individualized. Content can be customized for each student, offering a personalized approach to learning. Moreover, assessment of knowledge becomes automated: content can provide different tools for assessing learning achievement and provide feedback to students.

The authors presented the analysis of different digital activities and their effectiveness in Spanish language learning. The comparative analysis of these platforms provided the choice of the easiest in use and more efficient in terms of autonomous work and students’ motivation. The article includes some practical recommendations on how to create digital educational content and make the learning process effective and motivating.
