DEVELOPING SCIENCE SKILLS IN PRESCHOOLERS: PRESENTATION OF THE PROJECT ERASMUS+ “N’EURO NEST 3.0”

Abstract:
This article presents recent research on science skills in preschoolers, European educational policies presented in the Erasmus+ program, the contents of the National Curriculum for Early Education in Romania (2019), products and results obtained in the implementation of the strategic cooperation project, action2 (Ka2): “n’EURO Nest 3.0”. We will address this topic through research on science skills in preschoolers, through the specifics of Romanian preschool education, and through the European education and training program of the European Commission, Erasmus +.The development of scientific skills in preschool children is an area of ​​interest from the perspective of all actors involved in the educational act in European education systems because these skills are a foundation for the formation of concepts and for addressing scientific contexts. The game in kindergarten activities is the basis but preschoolers show a spontaneous interest in this area of ​​development and exploration, for the scientific skills of observation, communication, collection, classification, measurement, predictability, the team.

The objective of this article is to describe the potential of the Erasmus + cooperation project "n'EURO NEST 3'0" in the development of scientific skills in preschool children by presenting the collaborative activities implemented, by analyzing the products made and by presenting these results. The cooperation project "n Euro Nest 3'o" is being implemented in the third year of the project in the kindergarten within the Vocational School "Tiberiu Morariu" Salva, Bistrița-Năsăud County, Romania in collaboration with four European educational institutions in Spain , Bulgaria, Portugal, Greece.
