Abstract:
The COVID-19 dilemma is adversely affecting young people's quality of life and prospects, and it has the potential to interrupt schooling. In the post-crisis era, a disruption would represent a serious danger to the whole society. As a result, educational institutions must act quickly and guarantee that the educational processes are ongoing. Our research's objective was to construct a framework that would make it possible for a seamless switch from conventional to remote learning models in an emergency. Our main aim is to develop the technological, organizational, and pedagogical adjustments that educational institutions must make in order to support various forms of contact, guarantee continuity, and provide high-quality education. A Model consisting of five stages was defined and implemented: “(a) preparation; (b) planning; (c) implementation; (d) operation; and (e) assessment”. offering recommendations for a quick switch to distant learning, which is not only for times of crisis. We tested our model by surveying teachers and students at schools in Delhi/NCR. The findings show that these participants in the instructional activities were quite satisfied. They support the hybrid educational paradigm for the next generation of students and indicate that extended distance learning is acceptable if necessary. An important finding from our research is that, in times of crisis, it is possible to switch a medium-sized educational institution's entire learning process, including lectures and a variety of assessment activities, to the remote learning paradigm in a quick and smooth way.
