Abstract:
In this project we present a didactic proposal that has been carried out in the educational centre of La Salle Virgen del Mar (Almeria), within the subjects of Biology / Geology and Integrated Project, related to the curricular contents of Biodiversity and audiovisual communication. Through a methodology of learning by projects (PBL) the students have made educational cartoons with the Go-Animate programme. The objectives for students to analyze and understand were the problems of biodiversity loss, to provide solutions and to contribute to the awareness of the population. Through this methodology it is intented that students develop scientific and technological competences. Faced with the demand for other more innovative ways of teaching, and the increase in the use of ICT in the classroom, we consider that the use of programmes for the design of audiovisuals of cartoons favors the students' motivation and the developing of scientific and technological competences.
