Abstract:
With the beginning of COVID19 pandemic, the educational processes in Mexico showed a series of weaknesses mainly associated with technological and pedagogical aspects related to distance learning.

There are three elements involved in the educational process, the students, the academics, and the university authorities, each one of these, trying to solve the problems they had to face to handle a disease that was beginning to become a bigger problem.
In the same way, to deal with the contingency, the mentioned elements involved, organized spaces and means to attend the needs of getting started with the distance learning process, a condition that required having sufficient technological and pedagogical resources for this purpose.
Throughout this process, it was also required to move from a face-to-face teaching practice to a virtual one, combined with a paradigm shift in terms of the evaluation process, for which neither the students nor the academics were prepared.

Objective:
The objective of this research is to analyze, from the perspective of the academics, the numerous situations that had to be faced in order to continue with distance learning. Emphasizing the evaluation process of the students, the commitment observed in these and the results obtained derived of this process. Different opinions emanated from academics of the Accounting Faculty of the Universidad Veracruzana in Veracruz will be presented.

Development:
For the development of this work, a quantitative methodology was used, which allowed to analyze the results obtained from a survey applied to academics from the Accounting Faculty of the Universidad Veracruzana in Veracruz. The results are mainly based on the opinion of these academics about the situations they had to handle with the distance education process and the corresponding evaluation of their educational experiences.

Conlusion:
The revolution in the educational process as a result of the Covid19 pandemic has brought numerous challenges for students, academics and educational institutions; dealing with pedagogical problems and lack of infrastructure witch they had to solve immediately in order to be able to begin with distance education. Furthermore, the way academics used to assess their students had to change drastically affecting them in different ways. First, the way they used to structure and apply the test is completely different, they have to use technological platforms like Eminus, that is the official platform that academics use in the Universidad Veracruzana, And also, the commitment and responsibility of the student, to be sincere and answer the test in a honest way.
