Abstract:
In the learning sequence, the students must dedicate part of their time to the assimilation of ideas, particularly in a subject of statistical contents. The planning of their work can receive teachers’ orientation and involve the following steps: search of documentation, reading and study of contents, solving doubts and evaluation of their progress. Online education resources prove to be useful for the latter issues. In particular, an educational platform is available in the University of Vigo, which provides the necessary tools to give the students access to learning questionnaires that may be used to measure their progress. For the latter purpose, the teacher has to design and collect an important number of questions oriented to assess the knowledge acquisition and also the development of skills and abilities. In this work, we will make reference to different sets of questions. On one hand, the teacher can design a list of generic questions, valid for any subject of Statistics with the same contents, and not oriented to be used in a particular degree. On the other, a number of practical questions, adapted to the specific scope of the degree, must be prepared.
