Abstract:
There are educational indicators on the national and international level such as the changes in the areas of science and technology: the demand for new professional profiles in all productive sectors, for instance the population growth trends to increase with a continuously marked disparity between countries and regions in question. Situations that outline a change in our educational structures, allows us to adopt different modalities from those that require the physical presence at schools, in order to provide good education.

The information and communication technologies can offer fundamental contributions to create learning conditions that are difficult to obtain in other circumstances. In this direction, the Technological Institute of Puerto Vallarta (ITSPV) has positioned itself as a leader in technology in the region of Bahia de Banderas. Also, the institution's efforts aim to develop technological projects that promote a wider and better educational coverage due to the increasing students’ demand at the Municipality. At the Institute, the technological development represents a significant growth, but it is the educational model that needs to be emphasized.
Therefore, the objective of this work is to propose education by distance model that provides the theoretical basis for "distance learning."

This elaboration is focused on achieving a design and an educational model of education by distance. In order to succeed, qualitative analysis of the educational model of five institutions nationwide were performed, we will call them "institutions type".

We conducted a qualitative research, considering that it is the most adequate regarding the subject of the study. Since it is not quantitative it can deepen the generated information up to present on the number of “institutions type", that enable us to know why they are considered parameters to be followed in the education by distance field.
