Abstract:
There are educational indicators at national and international as changes in the areas of science and technology: the demand for new professional profiles in all productive sectors, as well as with population growth trends continue to increase and a more marked disparity between countries and regions thereof. Situations we outlined a change in our educational structures, which allow different modalities to adopt demanding physical presence in the school environment to provide good education.

The information and communication technologies can make fundamental contributions to create learning conditions, otherwise difficult to obtain. In this sense, the Technological Institute of Puerto Vallarta (ITSPV) has positioned itself as a leader in technology in the region of Bahia de Banderas. Similarly, the efforts of the institution are aimed at developing technological projects that promote more and better educational coverage due to increasing student demand in the municipality. At the Institute, technological development represents a significant advance, but it is the educational model which has to be emphasized.

Therefore, the aim of this study is the proposal of a Distance Education Model that provides the theoretical basis for "distance learning".
