Abstract:
The technological revolution has one of its manifestations in the integration of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in all areas of society, including education. The changes caused by the information society and knowledge necessary to make the functional use of resources and tools that technology puts at our disposal by adopting new ways of working and learning.
In this paper, we include some results of an investigation in relation to the perception of teachers and students at the University of Santiago de Compostela on the incorporation of ICTs in tutoring: the frequency of use of ICT tools and the opportunities they offer. With this purpose, two surveys has been elaborated, the survey for teachers and the survey for students. These surveys were postal, e-mail and voluntary. The sample has included one total of 653 students and 224 teachers.
