Abstract:
Social distancing derived from the pandemic imposed the closure of all educational institutions, including universities, schools, and technical and vocational training institutions to combat the spread of the virus not only in Mexico but in most world countries. Which implies that the application of exams is carried without supervision to avoid the possibility of academic dishonesty. In this work we explain an assessment system with N number of unique exercises are produced with particular and unique data for each student each exercise is a single and independent Sweave file (.Rnw). Sweave files enables the embedding of R code within LaTeX documents to generate a Moodle file (xml) that includes narrative and analysis, graphics, code, and the results of computations. We conclude that a clear difference in the grades obtained before and after the Assessment System can be observed in a sample composed with students from the Bachelor of Industrial Engineering and the Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications and Electronic Systems enrolled (both) in the subject of Probability and Statistics at the Faculty of Higher Studies of Cuautilan.
